Account settings
Reached from the user menu. Six tabs, three of which do something.
Account
Your profile — name, email, and avatar. Uploading an avatar lets you crop it before saving.
Also where you deactivate your account.
Security
The tab that matters operationally. It holds:
- API keys — create, list, and revoke. See Creating an API key.
- IP rules — per key. See IP rules.
- Change password
- Two-factor authentication — enable, disable, recovery codes
- Passkeys — register and remove
Machine credentials are deliberately not listed here. A hundred-machine fleet would bury the two keys you actually manage. Manage machines from Machines.
The Recent Devices list on this tab is demonstration content, not a real record of sign-ins.
Appearance
Light or dark theme. The choice persists across sessions.
Billing
This tab is template content. The plan name, price, renewal date, payment cards, and invoice table are all placeholders — none of it reflects anything real.
There is no billing system. Nothing here charges you and nothing here is your data.
Notifications
The notification preference table is a placeholder. Toggles change nothing, and Save does not save.
Watchtower does not send notifications of any kind yet — no email, no alerts. Security events are recorded and shown in the console only.
Connections
The connected-accounts list is template content. There are no integrations to connect, and the buttons do nothing.
