Geolocation
A map of where your machines are, clustered by area.
Waiting on agent support
The map works. The data does not exist yet.
Real agents do not collect geolocation — the field is reported empty, along with WAN IP. Until agent-side collection lands, machines have no coordinates to plot and the map will be empty.
What works when there is data
- Machines cluster by area, and clusters split as you zoom.
- Selecting a cluster zooms to it.
- Selecting a machine shows a popup with its name and location.
Known problems
The filter bar does nothing. Typing in it has no effect on what is plotted.
"View Details" in a popup goes to the machine list, not to the machine you selected. Find the machine by name in the list instead.
How location would be determined
From the machine's public IP address, not from GPS or wifi. That means city-level accuracy at best, and a machine on a VPN appears wherever the VPN exits.
This page is for "roughly where is my fleet", not for locating a stolen laptop.
